How to Install a Hard Drive in Nucleus One

To install a hard drive in your Nucleus One, please follow these steps:
  1. Unscrew the bottom lid of the unit.
  2. Place the hard drive into the HDD rails, ensuring that its ports align with the SATA cable connector.

  3. Align the drive’s screw holes with the holes in the HDD rails and secure the hard drive using the spare screws provided with your Nucleus One.
  4. Connect the SATA cable to the hard drive. Make sure the connector is on the same side as the metal bracket through which the SATA cable is threaded. Do not rotate the bottom lid with the connected drive in the opposite direction, as the cable is not long enough to close and may be damaged.
    Info
    • Important: If you need to disconnect the drive, do not pull on the cable forcefully, as this may damage the SATA connector. Instead, use the transparent ribbon attached to the data connector to gently remove it
  5. Reattach the bottom lid and secure it with screws to complete the installation.

Warning
If the SATA cable was damaged during installation, please note that this will not be covered under warranty. Replacement cables can be purchased if you choose to replace them yourself. Alternatively, we can open an RMA case to replace the cable for you.
