Roon and NordVPN

Just so you know, using Roon over a VPN falls outside the scope of Roon Support. If you plan on using a VPN with Roon, please visit the Tinkering category over on the Community for any troubleshooting or support. 

Roon only works when NordVPN on my PC is turned off, why is this? 

There are instances when NordVPN can block local LAN access, or have issues with split-tunneling, especially via multicast discovery packets.

If your Roon ecosystem functions properly when your VPN is disabled, you may need to navigate to the 'Enable VPN for selected apps only' option in your VPN settings and add Roon, Roon Server, and anything else you may need. 

If this doesn't do the trick, head over to Community for assistance.
