Roon | Screen Resolution Is Too Small

Screen Resolution Is Too Small

Roon requires a resolution of at least 1280x720, and if your scaling factor results in a virtual resolution smaller than that you can see this error when trying to use Roon. This most frequently happens when scaling from high resolutions, like with a 4K monitor. Follow the steps below to resolve the error message "Your screen resolution is too small."

1. Right-click on the desktop shortcut of Roon and select Properties:

3. Go to the Compatibility tab and click Change high DPI Settings

4. Under Program DPI :
      a. Check the box next to 'Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program'
      b. Check the box next to 'Override High DPI Scaling Behavior'

Apply your changes and restart Roon, and you should be good to go!
