Reset Roon Database on Mac/Windows
You may sometimes need to refresh the Roon Remote App database (not Roon Server) on your Windows or Mac PC.
To do so, you can follow the below instructions:
- Create a Backup of your current database (if possible/Roon is accessible)
- Exit out of Roon/RoonServer
- Navigate to your Roon Database Location
- Find the folder that says “Roon” (note, do not edit the RoonServer folder)
- Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
- Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
- Connect to previous Roon server instance
